Since April 1, 1999, the Criminal Intelligence Service Alberta (CISA), as a representative of the police services in Alberta, has been in a financial partnership with the Province of Alberta Ministry of Justice and Attorney General to pursue effective strategies to prevent, detect, combat and control organized and serious crime in Alberta.
